Val d'Orcia ( Tuscany Contry ) dominated by the striking Mount Amiata, and the Orcia river wich flows across it. Delightful medieval villages look down on the valley while the benevolent sun illuminates the landscape, just as a light illuminates a room...

The cultivated fields are a kaleidoscope of colours as glints of silver from the olives mix with the yellow wheat, green woods and autumnal red vineyards...and silence reigns supreme.

Peace and tranquillity offer the visitor a slower pace of life while flowing streams and grazing sheep seem to suggest that... "this way of life exist..."

The rural farmhouse Sant'Alberto in Val d'Orcia ( Tuscany Contry ) was opened to the public in 1995 by its owner, Antonella. Built before 900, the building has since been restored with great care in order to maintain its original Tuscan "farmhouse" state: high wooden and brick ceilings with visible wooden beams, spacious rooms and handmade brick flooring.

The rural farmhouse val d'orcia of 4 spacious apartments: 2 of them on the first floor ( Azzurro and Girasoli ), the others located on the ground floor with direct access in the garden: Smeraldo suitable for wheelchairs and Acqua . All the apartments the rural farmhouse have been elegantly furnished using the original furniture of the farmhouse and other small pieces of antique furniture. They all have a fireplace, well-equipped kitchenette and a central heating. Each bedroom has an indipendent entrance so they can be rented as double room with bathroom.

There is also a grass area outside equipped with garden furniture, children's toys, a 7.5 X 15 swimming pool and a covered wooden car park. Guests can make use of the barbecue and wooden gazebo wich sorrounds the pool, offering the perfect opportunity to dine outdoors.
